Plantage Hortus Apartments Amsterdam

The location of the apartments is fantastic, as it is close to the tram station and near the center. being situated next to a park in a quiet area is a great advantage. The staff at the hotel where we collected the keys were friendly and helpful. The room was larger than expected and nicely decorated, with comfortable and clean beds.

The bathroom had a tendency to flood if we both had showers in the morning or evening.

Spacious and well-located apartment with easy access to public transportation, restaurants, supermarkets, and coffee shops. Comfortable beddings and ample space for a group of six. Friendly staff at check-in and convenient storage for luggage. Modern decor, clean, and well-equipped with a powerful shower and a large bath. Nearby attractions include a zoo and a park. Great value for money.

Atmospheric, exceptionally clean place, everything was excellent, including location and rooms. Positioned in the very quite area, so close to the botanical gardens and tram stop.

Despite some minor drawbacks, my recent stay at Plantage Hortus was enjoyable. The location was convenient, with nearby attractions and amenities. The apartment itself was spacious and comfortable, providing a relaxing environment. The complimentary biscuits were a nice touch.

Comfortable beddings, spacious apartment, good bathroom and kitchen, easy access to trams, nearby cafes and restaurants, close to Dutch Resistance Museum.

For us it was ideal.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The beds were comfortable and the place was very clean. The location was nice, just outside the main city center but still easily accessible by tram, taking only about 15 minutes. We loved that it was opposite a little park by the water. The staff was friendly and helpful.

We had an amazing stay here, the hotel is situated in such a homey neighborhood with easy access to all points of interest. The staff were very friendly and provided excellent customer service. The room amenities were fantastic with ironing facilities, heating, tea and coffee facilities, a seating area, dining table, and even a patio. We appreciated the free toiletries and cookware/kitchen utensils provided and the flat-screen TV was a nice touch. The parquet floor was a beautiful addition to the overall aesthetics of the room.

Definitely recommended for families, we loved the mini kitchen in the room which was perfect for us when we didn't want to eat out all the time.

Affordable pricing compared to other similar options. Convenient location near public transportation and supermarkets. Spacious living area in the apartment.

Steep and narrow stairs that can be difficult to climb, especially with luggage. Rude and unhelpful housekeeper/staff who did not assist with carrying luggage and made rude comments during check-out.
